PS Plus Deluxe on PS4: What Is Included and How to Buy
PS Plus Deluxe is the top PlayStation Plus tier in regions without cloud streaming (Premium). For PS4 owners it delivers the full set: online multiplayer, monthly games, a catalogue of modern titles (Game Catalog), a library of PS1/PS2/PSP classics, timed trials of new releases (Game Trials) and standing discounts in the PS Store. The only difference from Premium is the absence of streaming — which does not work on PS4 anyway, so for this console the two tiers are equivalent.
What the PS Plus Deluxe subscription includes
Deluxe covers everything in Extra, plus two extra blocks.
- Online multiplayer. Playing online requires PS Plus — without it you cannot launch FIFA, Call of Duty, GTA Online and others.
- Monthly games. Three or four games are added each month. They stay in your library for good, as long as the subscription is active.
- Game Catalog. Several hundred PS4 and PS5 titles — Sony exclusives, indie hits, third-party releases. Games come and go, the way they do on Netflix.
- Classics Catalog. PS1, PS2 and PSP games — emulated with improved resolution, rewind and save-anywhere. This is exclusive to Deluxe and Premium.
- Game Trials. Time-limited demos of full games — usually two to five hours of play. Saves carry over into the full version if you buy it.
- Cloud saves. 100 GB of backups — handy when changing consoles.
- Exclusive discounts. Up to 50–70% off games, add-ons and in-game currency in the PS Store.
- Share Play. Play together in one game even if your friend does not own a copy.
How Deluxe differs from Premium
- Availability: Deluxe covers a set of regions (Turkey, Ukraine, India); Premium covers the USA, Poland and others.
- Cloud streaming: Premium only, and it does not work on PS4.
- Price: Deluxe in the cheaper regions costs noticeably less than Premium in the USA or Europe.
Comparing PS Plus tiers on PS4
To work out which tier you need, look at what actually differs.
| Feature | Essential | Extra | Deluxe |
|---|---|---|---|
| Online multiplayer | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Monthly games | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Game Catalog (PS4/PS5) | No | Yes | Yes |
| Classics Catalog (PS1/PS2/PSP) | No | No | Yes |
| Game Trials | No | No | Yes |
| Cloud saves | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| PS Store discounts | Yes | Yes | Yes |
On PS4 the gap between Extra and Deluxe comes down to the classics and the trials. If you rarely play older games and do not care about demos, Extra is enough. If you want everything, take Deluxe.
Where Deluxe is available
Deluxe is offered in countries where the cloud streaming service has not officially launched — Turkey, Ukraine and India among them. In these regions the subscription costs far less than Premium in the USA or Europe, with an identical feature set on PS4. You can buy Deluxe for an account in any of those regions through our store, without setting up foreign wallets yourself.
The Classics Catalog on PS4: what is in it
The Classics Catalog is the main reason to choose Deluxe over Extra. It is a library of older games that run on PS4 through a built-in emulator. Every game gets improved resolution, trophy support and a rewind function.
Examples from the Classics Catalog:
| Platform | Example games |
|---|---|
| PS1 | Ape Escape, Syphon Filter, Tekken 2, Wild Arms, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee |
| PS2 | Siren, Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy |
| PSP | LocoRoco, Patapon, Echochrome, Pursuit Force, Killzone: Liberation |
The catalogue is topped up regularly. The list differs between regions, so it is worth checking for a specific title before subscribing.
Game Trials: how the timed demos work on PS4
Game Trials are full games unlocked for a limited time, usually two to five hours. Saves, achievements and progress are kept — buy the game later and you pick up where you stopped.
How it works:
- Open the PS Store on your console.
- Find a game marked "Game Trial" (usually new and major releases).
- Download it and play.
- When the trial period ends the game locks — buy it or delete it.
On PS4 the feature behaves exactly as it does on PS5.
How to buy PS Plus Deluxe
Paying the PS Store directly is not an option in every country, and card payments are declined in several of them.
Setting it up on your account through a store
We buy the subscription on your account ourselves. You give us access to the account while we set it up, we sign in to the PS Store of the right region and activate Deluxe. Auto-renewal is not switched on — the subscription ends exactly at the term you chose.
What we need from you:
- The login and password for the PSN account (any region).
- Access to the email or phone for sign-in confirmation, if two-factor authentication is on.
Upsides:
- Prices in USD, paid in crypto at the rate at the moment of the order.
- No need to arrange a foreign card, a VPN or a wallet.
- A guarantee — if something goes wrong, we sort it out.
Limitations:
- You have to share account access.
- Auto-renewal is not switched on, so the subscription will not extend itself. That is also an upside: you cannot lose money by forgetting to cancel.
Buying a subscription code
PS Plus Deluxe codes are sold on marketplaces and in digital stores. You buy a code, enter it in the PS Store on your console, and the subscription activates.
Risks:
- The code may not match your account's region.
- Sellers on third-party platforms are not always honest — a code can turn out to be used or blocked.
- If the code does not work, getting your money back can take weeks.
Topping up a PSN wallet through intermediaries
You top up the PSN wallet balance through a middleman, then buy the subscription inside the PS Store.
Risks:
- The middleman takes a commission, so the final price can end up higher.
- If the middleman uses stolen cards, your account can be blocked.
- It takes time: top up, wait for the credit, then buy.
Problems most often follow a marketplace code bought on your own — the code turns out to be for another region and the seller disappears. We do the whole thing in one session and confirm that the subscription works.

Frequently asked questions
Can I play PS Plus Deluxe games on PS4?
Yes. Everything from the Game Catalog, the Classics Catalog and the monthly giveaways runs on PS4. The exception is titles marked "PS5 only", and they are a minority in the catalogue.
Do I need a VPN for PS Plus Deluxe?
Not if you buy through our store — we handle it from the right region. Doing it yourself, activating a code or topping up a wallet may require a VPN with a server in the account region's country.
What happens to the games when the subscription ends?
Monthly games stay in your library, but only run while the subscription is active. Game Catalog and Classics Catalog titles become unavailable until you renew. Saves and trophies are untouched.
Can I renew early?
Yes. If PS Plus Deluxe is already active you can extend it by any term. Subscriptions stack — the new period is added to the current one.
How does Deluxe differ from Extra on PS4?
Deluxe adds the Classics Catalog (PS1/PS2/PSP games) and Game Trials. Extra gives you the Game Catalog and monthly games only. If you do not need the classics and the trials, Extra costs less. If you want the full set, take Deluxe.
