Which plan to choose when several people listen — Family and Duo; why the price differs by country — Spotify regions.
What the Spotify Premium plans are and how they differ
Spotify Premium comes in four plans, and they differ not in music quality but in how many people are covered and a couple of extra features. The catalog, recommendations, offline mode and audio up to 320 kbps are the same on all of them — the only difference is how many accounts get Premium for one payment.
- Individual — Premium for one account. The most common choice: ad-free music, downloading tracks to your phone, unlimited skips, 320 kbps quality.
- Duo — two accounts on one payment. Each has its own playlists and its own recommendations, plus a shared Duo Mix playlist built from both people's tastes. Worth it when two people listen: per month it comes out cheaper than two Individual plans.
- Family — up to six accounts, each with its own music and its own history. Includes the Spotify Kids mode and an explicit-content filter for individual members. Per person, this is the cheapest way to get Premium.
- Platinum — a plan with lossless audio (no quality loss) and AI tools, designed for up to three accounts. For people who listen on good headphones and can hear the difference between 320 kbps and lossless; most people are fine with Individual.
There is also Student, but it is left out of the table on purpose: it requires proof of enrollment through a partner service, which does not work for universities in many countries, and we cannot set it up honestly.
Why the price in dollars differs from the official one
Spotify's official price list is in dollars, euros or the local currency of each country, and in many countries it cannot be paid directly: the payment is declined on the acquiring bank's side. So the subscription is set up through a foreign account region, and the price in dollars is made up of three parts.
- The subscription price in the country of setup. Each plan has its own working region: Individual is set up in Egypt, Duo and Family in Pakistan, Platinum in India. These are neither the most expensive regions nor the cheapest: they are the ones where the subscription lasts and does not drop off after a month.
- The exchange rate. The price is converted at the USDT exchange rate at the moment the page is built — the same rate you see in the order. The rate changes every hour, so the figures in the table are recalculated automatically; prices in articles and screenshots go stale, here they do not.
- Our work. Setup, region configuration, checking that the subscription is active, and a guarantee for the entire paid term. This is the part you pay us for, not Spotify.
A simple consequence follows: our monthly price is not "$12.99 at the official rate." It is lower for long terms and multi-person plans, because in the countries of setup the subscription costs several times less than the US price — and higher than the bare price in the cheapest country, because setup and the guarantee cost something.
Which term is the better deal
The price for the full term grows more slowly than the term itself. A year of Individual, calculated per month, comes out noticeably cheaper than paying monthly; three and six months fall in between. The "Price per month" table above shows this in today's figures.
A long term pays off not only in price. Every setup means handing over account access for half an hour and changing the password afterwards; once a year is more convenient than once a month. On the other hand, a long term has a limitation: it can only be set up on an account where the subscription is not currently active — the term is not added to the remaining balance, as it is with PS Plus. If your Premium is still active, wait for it to end and message the manager a couple of days before the date.
What to take if you are unsure:
- You listen alone and need Spotify for a long time — Individual for 6 or 12 months.
- You listen alone but are not sure Spotify will stick — Individual for a month, then switch to a long term.
- Two of you — Duo. Two Individual plans for the same term cost more.
- Family, friends, flatmates — Family: up to six accounts for less than the price of two Individual plans.
- Good headphones and lossless — Platinum.
What every plan includes
- Ad-free music with no limits on skipping tracks.
- Offline mode: up to 10,000 tracks on each of five devices.
- Quality up to 320 kbps (lossless on Platinum).
- Access to the full catalog, podcasts and audiobooks within the plan's limits.
- AI DJ and personal mixes — depend on the region; included in Egypt, Pakistan and India.
What no plan includes: linking to a local phone number, payment through a local app store, or getting a refund from Spotify directly. Anything to do with money is handled in the chat with our manager.
How the setup works
- Choose a plan and term in the card above and message @timurjob1 — or press "Buy on Telegram," and the order text fills in by itself.
- Pay in cryptocurrency (USDT). The manager confirms receipt in the chat.
- Send the login and password for your Spotify account; if two-factor authentication is on, the confirmation code. If the account is linked to Facebook or Google, say so in advance — the process is slightly different.
- In 15–30 minutes Premium is active. We change the account region ourselves, nothing is required from you; playlists, likes and history are not lost.
- Check the subscription in your settings and change your password. Access was only needed for the duration of the setup.
What happens after setup
The subscription works without a VPN: the app on your phone, computer and TV plays music as usual. A VPN is only needed for the web player at open.spotify.com and as a precaution: if you turn on a VPN for the country of setup, the risk of Spotify asking you to "confirm your region" drops several times over. This is not a requirement but advice for those who take a long term.
The guarantee covers the entire paid period: if Premium drops off, we restore or replace it. The only thing the guarantee does not cover is a ban on the account itself by Spotify's decision: that process is out of our hands, but we will help you write to support.
How this compares with other options
- Buying directly with a foreign card. You need a card from a bank in the account's region and an account in that same region. Cheaper only if you already have the card; if you open one just for Spotify, it will cost more than any of our terms.
- Spotify gift card. Sold only in some countries and redeemable only in the card's region; it will not apply to an account in another region without a region change — that is, the same work we do, only by your own hands.
- Splitting a Family plan with strangers. Cheaper, but the plan owner can remove you from the family at any moment, and Spotify periodically asks to confirm the shared address. With us, Family is set up on your own owner — you invite your own people.
- Pirated app builds. No offline mode, a risk of account ban and no updates; this has nothing to do with Premium.
If you want a detailed breakdown of where the subscription is cheapest and why we do not set it up in the cheapest country, it is on the Spotify regions page. If you already had Premium and it has ended, see the renewal page: there is a step-by-step timeline and an answer to what happens to your playlists in the gap.
