Renew Telegram Premium
Since April 2026, @PremiumBot has stopped accepting cards from a number of countries, and auto-renewal on subscriptions set up that way fails. Renewal by username works: we set up Premium as a gift to your @username. Telegram does not allow renewing a subscription bought in @PremiumBot in advance — message us a day or two before the end date, and we set up the gift right after it.
Renewal for 3 months — $17, a year comes to $3.50 per month. No account details needed — just your username. Activation in 5–15 minutes.

Renewal terms and prices
Prices are calculated at today's rate and match the price in the order. If your current Premium was bought by you in @PremiumBot or in the app, the gift will apply only after it ends — message the manager 1–2 days before the date. If Premium was already a gift, you can renew in advance: the terms add up.
| Renewal term | For the whole term | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| 3 months | $17 | $5.67 |
| 6 months | $23 | $3.83 |
| 12 months | $42 | $3.50 |
How renewal works
- Send your @username and the term — the button above fills in the text for you.
- Pay in cryptocurrency (USDT).
- Within 5–15 minutes Telegram sends a gift notification, and the end date in the settings moves forward by the paid term.
The same scheme works for another person too — on the page gift Telegram Premium о том, как найти ник и что увидит получатель; что входит в подписку — Telegram Premium page.
What happened to renewals in April 2026
Until spring 2026, renewing Telegram Premium was simple for most users: @PremiumBot accepted their bank cards, charged them in local currency and renewed the subscription by itself, once a month or once a year. From April 1, 2026, this payment stopped going through for cards from a number of countries — the payment is declined, and auto-renewal set up earlier fails with an error at the next charge attempt. Telegram sends a warning that "the subscription could not be renewed," and after that Premium simply ends on the scheduled date.
This happened to millions of users at the same time, which is why the query "how to renew Telegram Premium" is today one of the most frequent about the messenger at all. People who set up the subscription officially, paid honestly and broke no rules found themselves without a working way to keep paying. Neither a new card, nor a different bank, nor paying through the App Store app with the same regional account changes the situation: the problem is not the card, but that the payment channel is closed.
The Premium features themselves have not gone anywhere and work as before. Only the payment does not work — and we close that gap with a gift by username.
How a renewal by username renews your subscription
Telegram has a built-in "gift Premium" feature: one user pays for the subscription, and it is activated for another by @username. So for us, "renew" means gifting Premium to your own username. We set up the gift from our side, within 5–15 minutes you receive a system notification, the Premium badge appears or stays in place, and the date in the settings changes. Nothing needs to be turned off or set up again.
There is one peculiarity most sellers keep quiet about. If you bought your current subscription yourself — in the app or through @PremiumBot — Telegram does not accept a gift while it is active: when an attempt is made to send one, the server responds with the error PREMIUM_SUB_ACTIVE_UNTIL and blocks gifting until the end date. The terms do not add up, and the promise "we'll add it to your remaining time" cannot be kept by anyone in this case, however it may sound in a listing. There is one exception: if the current Premium was itself received as a gift — for example, set up through us last time — a gift can be sent on top of it, and then the terms combine into one. Ten days left becomes ten days and three months.
Three practical conclusions follow from this:
- A subscription from @PremiumBot is renewed back-to-back, not in advance. Message the manager one or two days before the end date, pay, and we set up the gift right after Telegram lifts the block. The gap comes to minutes or hours rather than days, and nothing is lost during that time — there is a separate section on this below.
- A subscription received as a gift can be renewed in advance. If Premium was already set up for you through us or gifted by someone else, set it up whenever convenient: the term is added to the remainder, and the end date moves forward. This matters especially for those whose channel boosts and emoji status are tied to Premium — more on them below.
- No account details are needed. No login, no password, no SMS code, no code from Telegram. Only the username. This is the main difference between our method and all the schemes where an intermediary "logs into the account to pay from inside."
How to check the end date
Before renewing, it is useful to know how much time is left. This is visible right in the app.
- Open Telegram settings.
- Tap the "Telegram Premium" line — everyone who has ever had the subscription has it.
- At the top of the subscription screen, the status and the date until which Premium is valid are shown. If the subscription has already ended, instead of a date there will be an offer to subscribe again.
Give this date to the manager. If you do not remember how you set up the subscription — yourself through @PremiumBot or received it as a gift — just say so: the manager will tell you whether it can be renewed right now or whether the gift needs to be sent after the end date. You will not have to pay twice: it is one order; only the moment of sending changes.
After the renewal by username, go to the same screen once more: the date should have moved by the paid term. If this has not happened within half an hour, message the manager and we will check from our side. Usually there is one reason: the order listed the wrong username, for example an old one that you changed. That is why, before payment, the manager shows which account was found by the username — check the name and avatar.
How this differs from other methods
Since April 2026, there has been a lot of advice online on "how to renew Telegram Premium in 2026." Let us go through honestly what works in it and what does not.
- Paying with Telegram Stars. Technically, Premium can be paid for with Stars, but the Stars have to be bought, and with a card that is declined it is the same closed channel. Buying Stars from an intermediary and then paying for Premium with them is an extra step with an extra commission; the result is the same as a gift by username.
- An intermediary with your login. You are offered to give access to the account so they can "pay from inside." For Telegram Premium this is not needed at all: a gift by username gives the same result, while access to your messages, contacts and channels stays with you alone. If you are asked for a code from Telegram or an SMS "to activate Premium," that is not an activation.
- Changing region and a foreign card. A working method if you already have a number and a card from another country. If you set them up just for Premium, it will cost more than any of our terms, and each renewal will again require a live foreign card. Why the subscription costs several times less in some countries than in others is explained in the article on cheap Telegram Premium regions.
- A gift by username. An official Telegram feature, no account details, no region change, payment to us in cryptocurrency (USDT). It renews a subscription from @PremiumBot back-to-back, right after the end date, and a gifted one in advance, with the term added; guarantee for the entire paid period.
The price in dollars in the table above is made up of the subscription price in the country of setup, the exchange rate at the moment the page is built, and our work. That is why it is recalculated automatically and matches the price in the order — unlike figures in articles, which go stale. What the subscription includes at all and how the plans are structured is in the article on Telegram Premium prices and plans.
What happens to boosts, status and limits
The subscription has side effects that show up precisely at a break. If your Premium was a gift and you renewed it in advance, you will not encounter them. If the subscription was bought in @PremiumBot, a short break is unavoidable — Telegram will not accept the gift before the end date — and it is fairer to know in advance what it affects.
- Channel boosts. Every Premium subscriber can give boosts to channels — they give the channel stories, a colored profile, custom emoji. When Premium ends, your boosts are withdrawn, and the channel may lose its level if other members' boosts are not enough. After renewal, the boosts can be given again, but the channel's previous counter will already have reset during the break. For channel admins this is the main reason not to delay: with gifted Premium — renew before the end date; with a subscription from @PremiumBot — message the manager in advance so the gift goes out in the first hours after the end, not a week later.
- Emoji status next to the name disappears on the end date. After renewal it needs to be chosen again — in the profile settings.
- Limits. Without Premium the usual restrictions apply again: fewer folders, pinned chats, channels and accounts. If the extra ones have already been created, Telegram does not delete them: they stay, you just cannot add new ones until the subscription returns.
- Uploads over 2 GB, voice message transcription, translation, animated avatars — all of this is switched off for the duration of the break and switched back on at the moment of renewal.
None of the above requires reinstalling the app or logging out and back in. Premium returns the very second the gift notification arrives.
If the subscription has already expired
Many people come to this page when Premium has already ended: the warning was overlooked, the card did not go through, the badge disappeared. Nothing terrible has happened. For an expired subscription, a gift by username is the simplest case: there is no longer a Telegram block, it does not matter how you set up Premium before, and the term starts from the moment of activation. We set it up on the day you get in touch.
What happens to your data during the break: nothing. Chats, folders, channels, stickers and pinned messages stay in place; uploaded files do not disappear; the history is not trimmed. Telegram does not delete what was created with Premium — it only prohibits creating beyond the limit while there is no subscription. After renewal, all features return immediately, including folders beyond the limit and the translator.
The only things you will have to do by hand are to choose the emoji status again and, if you are an admin, to give boosts to your channels.
How to renew
- Press "Renew on Telegram" — a chat with @timurjob1 opens with ready-made text. Enter your @username (visible in the settings, the "Username" line) and the term: 3, 6 or 12 months. Or choose the term in the card above and order through the cart.
- The manager will find the account by username and show the name and avatar — confirm that it is you. If the subscription is still active, give the end date and how it was set up: bought by you or received as a gift.
- Pay in cryptocurrency (USDT).
- Within 5–15 minutes Telegram sends a gift notification, and the end date in the settings moves forward. If your current subscription was bought in @PremiumBot, the gift goes out right after its end date — the manager will write when that has happened. In any case, check the date in the settings and tell the manager everything is in place.
Guarantee for the entire paid term: if Premium disappears before the date, we restore it. Full terms are on the guarantees page. The same scheme works for another person too: how to find their username and what they will see is on the gift Telegram Premium page. If you need to renew more than just Telegram, Spotify has its own rules — terms do not add up there, and the procedure is different: renew Spotify Premium.
